Fox Hollow Families,

What a crazy time we are navigating through each and every day. Never in a million years did I ever think we would be running our schools from home, but here we are and I could not imagine a better staff to be on this journey with. First and foremost, I want you to know how much we miss you all and miss being at school with your children. Your children bring us so much joy and light in our day and to not be with them hurts our hearts. I also want you to know that our staff is already preparing some amazing learning opportunities for your children. As much as we want to be in the building with your children, we are also enjoying learning some new strategies and ways to communicate with your children.

I do want to share with you what you should expect from us during this time.

CCSD Remote Learning Information:
  • Our teachers are working this week to prepare to shift to a remote learning model.
    • They have been gathering resources, brushing up on remote learning lesson delivery, and thinking about what students need to be successful online.
    • Our teachers are meeting virtually with their teammates and all of our interventionists to ensure that the lessons they are creating will be valuable for each one of students.
  • You can expect to receive information from your child’s teachers on Thursday, March 26th about what the learning will look like for their grade level.
  • Our remote learning will begin on Monday, March 30th. We will all share first weeks assignments by 2:00 pm.
  • Each week, you can expect to receive your child's assignments on Monday's by 2:00 pm.

    CCSD Resource Information:
  • As we begin, if your child does not have access to technology, please let us know right away. Click on this Technology Needs Survey so we can assess your technology needs. You can also call the school at 720-886-8705 (Mrs. Gray) or at 720-886-8703 (Vanessa) and leave us a voicemail or email Ashley Gray atagray16@cherrycreekschools.org if you are unable to access the survey.
Lastly, we did want to honor spring break this past week, and give our teachers the time to prepare for this new mode of teaching and learning. Please know we understand this is all new to all of us, our teachers, our students and our families. We are asking for grace from you as we make this shift into remote learning and know that we too will be providing the same for you and your family. We know and understand that everyone will be working through this together and we appreciate your patience.

In closing, please remember we are all here for you. If you ever need us, please reach out to us. We are still the same Fox Family as always and we are still here for you all.

With love,
Ashley Gray
