KIndness Week Jan. 27-31
The week of January 27-31 will be a spirit week to help raise money for Milestones for Maxwell. You can get more information by going to www.milestonesformaxwell.org.
Fox Hollow is raising money in conjunction with Grandview HS. The kids can bring in any donation during the week. Each donation they make will earn them a raffle ticket to be in a drawing to win a Grandview t-shirt.
No donation is too small. During this week we will be having spirit days:
Monday: Crazy Hair Day
Tuesday: Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday: Sports Day
Thursday: Hat Day
Friday: PJ Day
MEET MAX:
A 2-year old boy from Denver, Colorado. Max has a rare genetic disease that wreaks havoc on his neurological system. The condition is too rare for a formal name and is only known by the gene - SLC6A1. SLC6A1 causes developmental disabilities, a movement disorder, and the onset of a debilitating form of epilepsy along with regression between 3 - 4 years. Grandview has “adopted” Max as its Wish Child for 2020. As a school, it is our goal to raise $15,000 for Max and the Non-profit organization Milestones for Maxwell. To help raise money and awareness for this rare genetic disease. Our donations will go to assisting Max to receive the groundbreaking Gene Therapy Treatment that can wipe out this genetic disorder. We are One Pack, GO Wolves!
Throughout the week of February 10-14, Grandview will be hosting many school events, with all proceeds going to Milestones for Maxwell. Grandview is set to help raise money and awareness for this rare genetic disease. Our donations will go to helping Max receive the groundbreaking Gene Therapy Treatment that can wipe out this genetic disorder. Be a part of something bigger than ourselves and let us come together as a community and help a little boy get his miracle. Thank you for your consideration.
